Talgo is a global train manufacturer, recognized internationally for its engineering innovation and advanced passenger rail solutions. The company designs, manufactures, and maintains rolling stock for rail systems around the world. Talgo Inc., is a U.S. subsidiary, supporting U.S. rail clients through several specialized operations including its Los Angeles, California facility, which supports commissioning and warranty services for trainsets operated by Metrolink rail and overhauled at Talgo's Milwaukee facility.

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning and Warranty Site Manager who brings strong technical ability, problem-solving skills, and leadership qualities.

What You'll Do:


On site management of commissioning and warranty operations for refurbished train coaches; coordinating technical teams; analyzing and managing documentation; managing client communications; overseeing client inspections, quality process, and inventory; and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. Also to include troubleshooting and resolving technical failures and contractual problems; overseeing functional tests; monitoring KPIs and modifications; managing customer, supplier, management, and departmental issues; providing technical support; compiling and analyzing data; addressing budget deviations; supervising, leading, training and hiring personnel; developing new business opportunities and improvements.

What We're Looking For:


Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Electrical Engineering/Technology or related & 60 mo. exp. in related rail sector experience. Must have experience in team leadership, technical analysis, and client relations. Must also possess high skills in operating portable test equipment and tools, suppliers software applications, data analysis tools, and using railroad systems parts and supply manuals. Proficiency in interpreting electrical and pneumatic schematics and drawings, maintenance and repair manuals, data analysis and contractual specifications.

Physical and Other Requirements:



  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Frequently required to stand, walk and perform manual tasks
  • Occasionally required to kneel, stoop, or climb
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
