Primary Responsibilities:

  • Enterprise-Level Testing Leadership
    • Lead comprehensive testing across all domains, ensuring full coverage from environment setup through transactional workflows
  • Quality Assurance & Non-Functional Testing
    • Identify and resolve performance and security concerns; execute non-functional testing to ensure reliability, scalability, and compliance
  • Defect Analysis & Reporting
    • Analyze and prioritize defects and test scenarios based on severity and business impact; deliver actionable quality reports to stakeholders
  • Automation Strategy & Framework Development
    • Define and implement automation strategies aligned with application goals; design, build, and maintain robust automation frameworks
  • CI/CD Integration & In-Sprint Automation
    • Develop and code automated test scripts, integrate them into CI/CD pipelines, and enable in-sprint automation for faster delivery
  • Team Mentorship & Productivity Enhancement
    • Mentor team members on advanced automation practices; contribute reusable utilities and frameworks to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Innovation & Emerging Technologies
    • Drive innovation by developing strategies for next-generation technologies, including Cloud, Microservices, and AI/ML
  • Agile Delivery & Sprint Management
    • Create and maintain sprint boards in Jira, manage sprint life cycles, provide demos to stakeholders, and ensure sprint backlog completion through client acceptance
  • Test Planning & Coordination
    • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities; determine and approve QA test coverage
  • Requirements Analysis & Risk Mitigation
    • Gather and analyze requirements from SMEs and business teams to prevent requirement leakage during multi-application integration
  • Test Design & Documentation
    • Design software test plans, scenarios, and scripts; document test cases and procedures for traceability and compliance
  • Defect Tracking & Communication
    • Log software defects using tools such as Quality Center and Jira; communicate issues to development and maintenance teams for resolution
  • Scheduling & Strategy Alignment
    • Plan test schedules and strategies in accordance with project scope and delivery timelines
  • Environment Setup & Performance Testing
    • Recreate production-like environments and data setups to validate software performance under real-world conditions
  • Production Support & Root Cause Analysis
    • Assist SMEs in diagnosing production issues, recommend solutions, and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence
  • Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation by streamlining workflows and automating repetitive tasks
    • Evaluate emerging trends to drive continuous improvement and strategic innovation

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in CS or IT related field
  • 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role driving enterprise-level testing and automation strategies
  • 5+ years of experience in test automation frameworks and scripting (e.g., Selenium, API automation)
  • 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, in-sprint automation, and other best practices
  • 3+ years of experience with performance and security testing tools (e.g., JMeter, K6, OWASP)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of health plan domain and banking domain, including workflows from setup through transactions
  • Technical Skills
  • Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Ability to assess risk, prioritize defects and features based on business impact, and deliver actionable quality insights
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Proven success in mentoring teams, improving productivity, and fostering innovation in QA practices
  • Innovation: Exposure to next-gen technologies such as Cloud, Microservices, AI/ML, Salesforce, and ability to develop strategies for their adoption
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leadership

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
