The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

The Special Events (EMT) delivers high quality patient care and customer service to event guests, staff and others by delivering pre-hospital 911 emergency Basic Life Support treatment to patients, participants and spectators of all ages and populations, in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and RWJ Barnabas EMS policies and procedures, who experience any illness, disability or injury, using proper equipment and techniques to safely assess, treat, lift and transport patients to the mobile unit, and transport them to an appropriate medical facility, while completing all documentation and assigned duties supporting efficient EMS operations and representing RWJ Barnabas EMS in a positive and professional manner,

Job Qualifications:

High School Graduate or GED Must be 18 years of age; Associates degree preferred

1 year of EMT/911 experience

NJ,NY,PA, or National Registry EMT certification required

American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider

Current Drive s Liscense and must satisy current vehicle insurance requirements

Must possess ICS 100, 200, 300, 400, and NIMS 700, 800

Complete Hazardous Materials Awareness training, HAZMAT operations

Complete Weapons of Mass Destruction or CBRNE Awareness training, CBRNE Operations

Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support or International Trauma Life Support Preferred
