We have an immediate need for a Clinical Placement Coordinator to join our nationwide University! Our Clinical Placement Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the practicum and field experience processes for the College of Nursing by providing back-end support to students, field experience coordinators, academic leadership, program directors, academic advisors, as well as other departments in the college. Our team operates on a Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm schedule. The starting pay range will be between $27-32/hr and we promote career progression opportunities. This is a 100% Remote opportunity. Equipment will be provided but you must have a reliable internet connection. Responsibilities - Review nominated preceptors and practicum sites to determine the appropriate of the preceptorship to meet practicum course requirements. Assist nursing students in completing and gaining approval for practicum applications. Process and maintain student field experience files, field experience applications, preceptor information and field site information. Communicate with students via electronic methods to counsel and advise students across nursing programs on field experience information, requirements, policies and procedures. Prepare, complete and maintain reports, files and documentation in a timely and accurate manner. Manage the departments main email account. Review and approve practicum applications to ensure students meet requirements to include licensure, insurance, practicum forms and onboarding requirements. Work in partnership with field experience staff members as a team member to accomplish field experience goals. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Field experience Supervisor and Supervisor or the Director Field experience Qualifications - Must have an extensive knowledge and experience in the healthcare field to understand healthcare facilities and health care providers RN license is preferred Experience in processing applications and compliance records Excellent analytical, problem solving, written and verbal communication, detail-oriented, multitasking, and organizational skills Excellent customer services skills Excellent time management skills with an ability to set and meet deadlines Ability to independently work Ability to learn Walden's administrative database and software systems Successful experience working in a team setting Experience in higher education is a plus The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role. Actual pay may vary based on location, experience, and performance.
