Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Orlando, FL. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of subsystems or systems.
  • Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints.
  • Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem.
  • Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops test programs and procedures for complete systems or subsystems.
  • Coordinates subsystem or system testing activities with programs and other organizations.
  • Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance.
  • Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.
  • Responsible for developing test programs to run on the client's systems.
  • Variety in work assignments is what you can expect from this position as we support RF, analog, digital, Electronic Warfare, Electro-Optics, and a variety of communication technologies.
  • Team members work collectively as well as individually to develop software and hardware designs to support customer missions.
  • Daily work involves leading a team of Test Program Set (TPS) developers and collaborating with Hardware, Software, and Systems Engineering to coordinate efforts required to produce a tailored work product for our customers.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $50.00 - $80.00/hr.

Hours: 4/10 - 1st shift.

Length: Temp (8 months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with electronic assembly and electrical testing.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with Software design and development.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with Testing and Development.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with Electronic Testing.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with Requirements Development.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with Software testing / fault insertion.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Integration.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with project and technical leadership.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Proven hardware/software integration skills, a working knowledge of standard electronics lab equipment, and good communication skills.
  • Able to lead development of test programs written in either PAWS ATLAS or NI TestStand and LabWindows CVI.
  • Test Equiment Design.
  • Systems Analysis & Design Skills
