Work Schedule: This is a part-time, non-benefitted, non-exempt position; less than 10 hours/week; Monday - Friday, hours to be determined. This a temporary appointment ending on or before September 30, 2026, with the possibility for renewal, contingent upon the availability of funds.

Salary Range: $38.12 to $40.71/ per hour

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Under the general supervision of the Associate Provost for Undergraduate Student Success, the incumbent is responsible for assisting in supporting for Exito, a US Department of Education Developing Hispanic Serving Institutions grant.

The incumbent shall: Assist the with tracking faculty fellowship workflows for the Exito grant, including continued biweekly consultations with the 1) ACUE faculty fellow, (2) Chairman faculty fellow, 3) Career-Engaged faculty fellow, 4) the Inclusive Teaching faculty fellows and the 5) Critical Course Redesign faculty fellows, representing CETL.

The incumbent will oversee the monthly project deliverables for each DHSI faculty fellowship, including the development of Critical Course Redesign processes and Career-Engaged Departments programming. The incumbent will assist faculty fellows with the timeliness of their job deliverables, including helping faculty track and report their time. The incumbent will provide guidance and assistance to faculty fellows in fulfilling these requirements as we meet quarterly deadlines for CETL programming. The incumbent will develop and maintain faculty fellow collateral in the Canvas instance (such as the career-engaged instruction course hub) and assist with grading faculty submissions where necessary for respective CETL programs. The incumbent will continue to meet weekly and as required with the Grant PI to create and distribute summaries and analyses to aid in reporting progress, including quarterly reports to the DOE.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiar with advising and learning technologies such as a learning management system (LMS), preferably Canvas, and EAB Navigate.

The incumbent must demonstrate an interest or ability in working in a multicultural/multiethnic environment. A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the UAS. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the application status of applicants or the continued employment of current UAS employees who apply for the position.
