NATURE AND SCOPE
The Community & Events Coordinator is a key stakeholder in managing the day-to-day tasks of the Community arm of the Marketing team. Support the community strategic initiatives and assist in the management of community events from concept to completion. Maintain accurate budget, donation, including payment of invoices, and volunteer hours records. Serve as an ambassador at community-facing events.


REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field and minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, community relations or a directly related field or a previous related internship. Familiarity with financial industry is preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
* Competency with Microsoft Office products with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Experience working in design programs (ie. Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) helpful.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to plan and execute events.
* Demonstrated ability to independently organize work, balance multiple priorities and manage a variety of projects/events with strong attention to detail.
* Willingness, excitement and desire to grow Landmark's brand in the community.
* Must develop a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures as they relate to this position. Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all job-related state and federal laws and regulations.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Manages community events with internal and external stakeholders ensuring band messaging and presentation is consistent.
* Develops a structured process that allows for consistent flow of communication among stakeholders.
* Coordinates materials needed and transport of items for events.
* Maintains records of expenses, community involvement, donations, in-kind gifts and volunteerism.
* Works alongside community specialist in researching organizations requesting donations to build weekly presentation/recommendations.
* In partnership with community specialist(s), produces and reviews reports on budget/expenses, donations, sponsorships and volunteer engagement on a monthly basis.
* Schedules meetings with community partners, involving internal stakeholders when necessary.
* Supports monthly report of community team accomplishments/impact.
* Manages attendance at community-supported/sponsored events.
* Assists in management of donation request intake and associate volunteer engagement software programs.
* Manages community projects and works with marketing team on fulfilment as needed.
* Assists community specialist(s) with execution of events.
* Works with promotional giveaway vendors including managing inventory, requesting quotes and samples and ordering items.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
