As a Security Officer - Medical Center Entry Screener in Escondido, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Screener at a busy healthcare location, you will welcome patients, visitors, and staff while supporting access control and entry screening. You will stay highly visible, communicate clearly, and help identify and report security-related concerns, collaborating closely with site teams. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at a healthcare location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Perform entry screening duties such as greeting and directing patients, visitors, and staff; verifying access credentials; and completing designated screening steps per site policy.
• Monitor entrances and screening areas, help identify prohibited items or concerning behavior, and report observations according to post orders and escalation guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Complete required logs and reports, communicate clearly with clinical and administrative staff, and support an orderly flow through screening checkpoints.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Handcuffing Certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
