You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, maintain a highly visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access control and incident response. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and deliver helpful customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a tech and data center location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, loading areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, manage visitor check-in and/or escort processes, and support controlled entry for vendors, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete detailed patrol logs and incident reports, operate site communication tools, and report maintenance, fire, and/or life support equipment irregularities to the appropriate contacts per procedure.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
