Position Title: Industrial Maintenance Tech
Salary: $41,000-$62,000 per year Shift: 1st Hours: 7:30am-3:30pm (Mon-Fri) Join a growing manufacturing team that produces high-quality resistors used in a variety of industries. We are looking for a reliable Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment to keep operations running smoothly in Mediapolis, IA. The ideal candidate will have experience with preventative maintenance, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and working in a manufacturing environment. Industrial Maintenance Tech Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Perform routine preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility systems. - Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and complete timely, effective repairs. - Respond promptly to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns during production. - Inspect equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards. - Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and service records. - Assist with installation, setup, and modification of machinery and equipment. - Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance work area. - Collaborate with production staff to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency. Industrial Maintenance Tech Requirements: - High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred. - 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred. - Board Level Electronics Repair Certification is a plus. - Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems and advanced electrical systems. - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 20 lbs. - Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures.
