Find your calling at Mercy! Under the supervision of a Registered and Licensed Dietitian, the Clinical Nutrition Graduate performs duties such as: Active participation in Performance Improvement and Quality initiatives. Assists the nutrition department with tray line during meal service times, diet competency training for nutrition assistants, nutrition analysis of current menu items, and assist in meal/ supplement documentation while participating in patient rounding. Participates in ongoing education and training of competencies. Manages multiple tasks efficiently while prioritizing effective patient care.

The Clinical Nutrition Graduate assures that the Mercy Mission, Mercy Values, Service Standards, confidentiality, policies and procedures of the department and Mercy are followed. This responsibility includes the appropriate utilization of the Mercy's resources to optimize patient care. Performs any assigned duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Position Details:

Qualifications: Required:
Education:

Required: Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.

Preferred: Master's Degree in Dietetics or related field.

Experience:

Required: 0-1 years of healthcare experience in clinical dietetics and / or healthcare food service setting.

Certification/Registration:

Required: Registry and/or License eligible and must obtain full registry and license within 1 year of employment or per state license requirements.

Preferred Certifications: Food Handlers or Serve Safe Managers certification
