Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting receiving, picking, packing, and shipping operations within the Western regional client supply fulfillment center. This role ensures accurate order fulfillment, proper material handling, and adherence to safety and quality standards. The position involves hands-on warehouse tasks including material put-away, order preparation, shipping, inventory management, and operation of material handling equipment. Job Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials, pallets, and boxes, including breakdown using cutting tools.
Store materials in appropriate locations such as flow racks or storage areas.
Build boxes, initiate orders on production lines, and pre-package or count items as needed.
Pick items accurately and prepare orders for shipment, including packing with air pillows, tape, and other protective materials.
Affix shipping labels, prepare pallets, and load trucks efficiently.
Perform material transfers and participate in physical inventory counts.
Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization in compliance with corporate policies and safety procedures.
Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Job Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience.
Experience with shipping software and label printing.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as moving, stacking, and organizing materials.
Knowledge of item recognition, counting, and proper packaging techniques.
Familiarity with safe lifting, cutting, and material handling practices.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
