To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

• As a minimum, an unencumbered State of South Dakota Nurse Practitioner license and Registered Nurse, RN license.

• National Certification from an accredited body such as AANP or ANCC.

• Five years experience as a Nurse Practitioner is required.

• Previous experience in geriatrics, skilled nursing or long term care preferred.

As a Nurse Practitioner, your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Norton by providing comprehensive, proactive medical care to short- and long-term residents, focusing on chronic disease management, acute illness assessment, and reducing hospital readmissions.
