Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring a
Part-Time Truck Driver in Fishersville, Virginia. The Truck Driver is responsible for completing daily parts deliveries to Carter Machinery facilities and customer sites. Additional responsibilities include performing general warehouse duties to include parts shipping, receiving, stocking and order fulfillment. Seeking candidates with previous experience driving heavy capacity trucks, required; CDL B license, required; High school diploma or equivalent, required; Previous experience delivering parts and performing warehouse duties, preferred.
Requirements for the Truck Driver position include:
Physical requirements must be met for the Truck Driver job, including frequently sitting for extended periods of time. The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds and occasionally move and/or lift up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
