JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Acts as a single point of contact to drive scrap rate determination, acceptability, and improvement across all aeroderivative platforms.
* Defines and refines the roadmap strategy for the Enterprise Scrap Rate Data Model and associated trend monitoring analysis.
* Determines scrap rates for components flowing through shops.
* Performs root cause analysis and deep-dive investigations into material scrap drivers.
* Screens and identifies potential scrap rate drivers and improvement opportunities.
* Provides technical recommendations for short- and long-term material solutions.
* Maintains project trackers for proposed solutions and improvement initiatives.
* Supports and/or drives program activities through the full lifecycle-from initiation and development to execution, monitoring, and completion-to improve scrap rates.
* Facilitates cross-functional team meetings and rhythms to support operational and strategic initiatives.
* Drives communication and collaboration across multiple functional teams and value streams.
* Reviews and provides guidance on technical matters and materials readiness.
* Supports other enterprise priorities as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor"s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
* Minimum 2+ years of experience managing products, processes, or projects.
* Familiarity with aeroderivative products or aerospace components.
* Strong project management and facilitation skills.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, product specifications, and industry codes.
* Proven attention to detail with excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* Ability to interface with internal and external customers.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization.
* Self-motivated and able to adapt quickly in a dynamic and evolving work environment.
* Demonstrated ability to function as a proactive change agent focused on quality and customer satisfaction.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Tableau.
* Lean certification preferred.
