Position Summary
The Senior Processor will serve in a leadership capacity for the Accounting Tech - Contributing (Processor) positions within the FBO Service Center. The Senior Processor will facilitate training and onboarding of new Processors, including SHRA permanent, SHRA temporary, and UTS employees. As a lead, this position will mentor and oversee the work product of the junior Processing staff for the Service Center.

This position will manage and oversee multiple departmental funds for the FBO Service Center. This includes monthly account reconciliation; preparing billing and processing payments; maintaining and controlling general ledger accounts and reports; managing account receivables; and performing collections activities. Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data. Recommends financial actions and provides account guidance to others. Interprets policies, rules and regulations ensuring integrity of functions. Provides support for various projects and reporting responsibilities as needed. This position will work in collaboration with other departmental accounting offices and University finance departments.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of experience in accounting work; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Management Preferences
Experience with accounting methodology, practices, and procedures.
Experience with PeopleSoft.
Experience in higher education and/or health care setting.
