| Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit |
- Applying state-of-the-art principles of design and data collection to all collaborative studies in which we participate,
- Training students to apply these principles to practice, and
- Conducting research aimed at improving the design, data collection and analysis phases of types of studies we do. |
| Position Summary |
This position manages all logistics related to the
UNC Water and Health Conference, held each year in October. This conference coordinator position includes responsibilities in event management, finance/accounting, administration, support for travel and logistics for speakers and donors, management of volunteers, and communications. |
| Minimum Education and Experience Requirements |
Bachelor's degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. |
| Management Preferences |
- One year of experience in managing events or convenings
- Extremely organized
- Possess superior collaboration, teamwork, and team leadership skills
- Great attention to detail |
