Overview

This position will be responsible for providing dedicated security support to Electric Boat Corporation's (EBC) AUKUS Program in Australia.

The position is located at the AUKUS Program's Defense Industrial Vendor Qualification (DIVQ) office in Adelaide, Australia. The successful candidate will aid in ensuring company compliance with International security requirements in support of the company's IMEX Compliance Program in accordance with company policy, contract requirements, and Federal Regulation.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

    Implement and maintain security policy
  • Coordinate with local security as necessary
  • Oversee physical security of the office
  • Conduct visual compliance assessment for all in person meetings with FNs
  • Act as primary POC for security incidents
  • Develop and maintain crisis management and emergency response plans
  • Assist with office export record keeping needs


Qualifications

Required:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Associate's Degree (or above) in an applicable security discipline or 4 years' experience within a professional security organization. This experience must include security support for both Foreign Military Sales (FMS) agreements and Technology Assistance Authorizations (TAA)
  • Formal security training conducted by a US federal agency, military branch, or professional security organization such as DCSA, NSA, DSCA, or NCMS
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Preferred:

  • Experience conducting complex investigative matters
  • Experience working within a compliance program based on the NISPOM, the EB Security Manual, EB EXIM Policy, and other applicable guidance sources
  • Experience administering security education and awareness training and conducting self-inspections
  • Experience working with the Exporting Arms Regulation (EAR) and International Trafficking in Arms Regulation (ITAR)

  • The successful candidate will be able to work independently in a fast paced and challenging environment and have experience working on multi-functional teams.
  • Strong problem solving skills, writing/presentation skills, organizational skills, and the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization are a must.
  • A flexible schedule and overtime may be required.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently
  • Strong interpersonal, reporting and documentation skills
  • Experience working with the Foreign National Visit System (FNVS); including receiving, educating, and administering foreign national visitors
  • Experience working with an automated access control system and adjudicating requests for access
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain working relationships with domestic and/or foreign oversight entities
