As a Security Guard - Entry Control Post in Malvern, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading financial location where you will manage access control, verify credentials, issue badges, and track visitor activity using computer and/or tablet tools. You will remain visible at key entry points, communicate professionally with staff and guests, and support prompt response to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and access control protocols at a financial services location.
• Control entry and exit at designated access points by verifying identification, managing visitor registration, issuing and collecting badges and/or credentials, and directing authorized persons to appropriate areas.
• Monitor security-related systems and activity at entrances and controlled areas, including alarms, cameras, and door status indicators, and document unusual conditions per post orders.
• Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate internal contacts and/or emergency services as directed by procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access, identify hazards, and report maintenance or policy concerns through required logs and notifications.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have an Act 235 qualification for Pennsylvania only.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
