As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Route in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech, media, and telecom location as an unarmed Patrol Officer. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with on-site teams and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify maintenance or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and technology-related work areas, checking credentials as required and directing visitors, deliveries, and contractors according to site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
