Overview of Position:
The Heiser Automotive Group has an immediate opening for an experienced Parts Counterperson. We are seeking

professional individuals who demonstrate strong customer service skills, are detail oriented and who are self-starters

and team players capable of working in a fast-paced environment. The Parts Counterperson is responsible for customer

service and retail sales in our parts department.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in person, by phone and online
  • Help identify and select correct parts and accessories
  • Provide pricing, product information, availability and status updates.
  • Selling parts and managing parts inventory/stock
  • Locating and sourcing correct parts
  • Ordering parts as needed
  • Coordinate with the service department to ensure timely parts delivery.
  • Deliver price quotes over the phone and offer status updates on shipments of parts
  • Other miscellaneous duties as they arise


Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Minimum 1+ year(s) relevant experience
  • Previous parts/service preferred
  • Previous automotive knowledge preferred
  • Extensive automotive parts knowledge a plus
  • Ability to lift items/supplies up to 50lbs.
  • Valid and clean WI Driver's License
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to function as part of a team and work independently
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of a fast-paced work environment
