What you will be doing: Lab Space Planning is responsible for evaluating and providing solutions for all requests where lab space is impacted. Requests can include adding a new piece of equipment, shelving or lab bench to a lab, rearranging a lab, or moving a lab. Larger projects include lab programming for new buildings/spaces and restacks. The Co-op will assist in preparing for an upcoming large-scale lab move into our new building by confirming current locations of lab equipment and conducting various planning activities surrounding move preparation. The Co-op will also support day-to-day lab space requests for new lab equipment, lab layouts, lab moves, and lab casework changes and will request updates to the master architectural drawings. The Co-op will interface with the following teams: Lab Space Planning, Workplace Services, Instrumentation Engineering, EHS, Lab Operations, Engineering Documentation, PMO, and Move Consultants along with various scientific end users.
