Volunteers of America-Greater New York (VOA-Greater New York) is a leading anti-poverty organization serving neighbors in need across New York City, Northern New Jersey, and Westchester. Through 70+ programs, we support over 35,000 adults and children each year, including individuals experiencing homelessness, survivors of domestic violence, youth aging out of foster care, veterans, seniors, and children with developmental delays.

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the following position:

Position: Associate Program Director



The Associate Program Director manages the case management and specialized support service delivery system for clients as well as establishing community linkages to enhance services. In the absence of the Program Director, assume the responsibilities of that position.

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field.
  • Five years' experience including two years in a supervisory experience.



Associate Program Director Principal Responsibilities:



  1. Responsible for management and supervision of program staff.
  2. Management and oversite of clinical and recreational services.
  3. Oversee the management of program services. Including development of program protocols and services.
  4. Oversee the management program of purchasing and property control.
  5. Oversee the management of program facilities.
  6. Serve as funding/regulatory agency liaison. Maintain community contacts.
  7. Prepare budgets and reports.
