Services Lifecycle Marketing Strategist This is a 12-month, full-time (40 hours/week), remote contract role located within 100 miles of New York, NY. Summary
We are seeking an experienced end-to-end Lifecycle Marketing Strategist with a passion for growing consumer subscription businesses. This role partners with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Engineering, Product, Data Analytics, Design, and Business to create privacy-forward programs that drive sign-ups, engagement, and long-term retention. The ideal candidate will develop strategies that ensure customers are getting the most value from their subscription experience. Our Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years of experience leading lifecycle marketing programs, ideally within a consumer subscription business, with demonstrated success achieving growth goals
- Passion for subscription-based products with a strong foundation in acquisition, engagement, and retention strategy
- Proficient in multi-channel marketing strategy including paid media, social, push notifications, email, and in-app messaging, with strong analytical and optimization skills
- Familiar with A/B testing methodologies, data-driven optimization, and integrated campaign measurement
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Engineering, Product, Data Analytics, Design, and Business stakeholders
- Able to work independently and manage multiple large-scale, time-sensitive projects simultaneously
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities in complex, international environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail and presentation capabilities
- Experience building integrated media strategies across Social, Digital, Custom Partnerships, Audio, CTV, and OOH channels
Job Description
In this role, you will lead lifecycle marketing strategy across acquisition and retention initiatives for subscription services. You'll partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define customer journeys from acquisition through churn and retargeting, ensuring cohesive and optimized engagement strategies across touchpoints. This includes supporting national brand awareness and performance campaigns, building comprehensive creative and media briefs, reviewing media plans, and consolidating channel insights to ensure a seamless and measurable customer experience. You will develop and optimize acquisition and retention programs through structured A/B testing, experimentation, and data-driven insights. You will also create leadership-ready presentations, build strong cross-functional relationships, and establish processes for continuous improvement by analyzing performance data and feeding insights back into strategic plans. This role requires balancing multiple priorities while driving meaningful performance improvements against key metrics. Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree required
- Background in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline
- Experience working with integrated marketing campaigns across traditional and digital media channels
- Preferred experience with creator partnerships, audience strategy, syndicated research tools (MRI/Simmons, comScore), and social listening platforms
