Candidates who can contribute to that goal are encouraged to identify their strengths or experiences in this area. *** Assessment Administrator/Student Success Specialist~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This posting will close on: 03/13/2026**No further applications will be accepted on or after this date** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ASSESSMENT ADMINISTRATOR/STUDENT SUCCESS SPECIALIST, Center for College and Career Readiness (grant funded) Primary Function: Administers pre/post-assessments to determine student placement and track academic progress, student goal setting, barrier identification, student transition to employment and/or postsecondary education, and assist students in completing the intake process. Responsibilities: (1) Administer Title II-approved assessments; (2) Schedule and conduct new student orientation; (3) Track student hours to determine when assessments need to be administered; (4) Schedule students for testing; (5) discuss test results with students; (6) Use assessment results to assist students in goal setting; (7) Generate administrative and student reports from assessment testing client; (8) submit assessment results to eData staff for entry; (9) Provide barrier and transition support by providing students with internal and external resources; (10) Assist in the student intake process; (11) Maintain required certification to administer paper-based, computer-based, and remote assessments; and (12) Complete professional development as required by the Center, College, and funder; and (13) participate in job-embedded professional development related to the responsibilities of the position. Organizational Relationships: (1) Responsible to the program manager to county(ies) where the position is assigned; (2) Functions as an integral part of the Center for College and Career Readiness program improvement team; (3) Relate to college and department goals; (4) Accept other responsibilities as may be assigned by the program manager, program director, and/or college. Performance Standards: Performance in this position is considered satisfactory when: (1) Mutually agreed upon objectives are attained within a specified timeframe; (2) Responsibilities of the position are carried out on a level consistent with performance objectives; (3) Effective relationships exist with the other members of the Center for College and Career Readiness. Qualifications: (1) Education: attainment of a Bachelor's degree in a related field from a regionally accredited college. (2) Experience: three years experience in adult literacy or adult education programming or teaching. (3) Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: (a) knowledge of current concepts in adult literacy professional development and curriculum/assessment; (b) organizational, communicative and interpersonal skills; (c) computer skills; (d) ability to function effectively as a member of the administrative team. | |
