JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Executing Quality Control processes associated with purchased product, manufacturing operations, and customer quality requirements.
Inspection of raw materials, EEE components, cable assemblies, printed circuit boards / assemblies (PCB / PCBAs), cable assemblies, machined parts, subassemblies, and top assemblies.
Inspection using calipers, height gauges, thread gauges, and VMMs/CMMs
Documentation of inspection activities using electronic information systems, written logs, and labels.
Assist in the development, maintenance, and improvements of inspection methods, inspection plans, and internal quality procedures and processes.
Assist with the resolution to internal/external nonconformance using root cause, corrective action, and 8D methodologies.
Assist in data analysis and reporting of department metrics as required.
Assist with the continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist in the resolution of audit findings, observations, and recommendations.
Assist with the control and disposition of non-conforming material (MRB).
Drive scheduling of day-to-day processes; ensure timely and accurate turnaround.
Other QC duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associate degree or occupational training in a technical field. H.S. Diploma or equivalent required.
3-5 years of relevant work experience or training required.
Experience with AS9100 or ISO9001 Quality Management Systems.
Experience with microscopic visual inspection.
IPC-A-610 / J-STD-001 certification.
Experience with ERP and PLM software systems.
Proficiency with reading engineering documents, CAD drawings, and detailed work instructions.
Strong digital, written, and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others in a positive and collaborative manner.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Experience in the aerospace or electronics industry.
