Job Summary:
The Model Maker I will work with various composite and 3D printed materials and maintain the work
area in a clean and orderly condition. The Model Maker I will be mentored and supported by team
members on project work and customer interactions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Surface parts and fit components for assemblies.
* Develop composite tooling and molds.
* Create foam plank build-ups.
* Laminate with epoxy resins and carbon composites.
* Participate in vac-form disciplines.
* Operate shop equipment, including hand tools, and perform preventive maintenance.
* Participate in daily shop organization and clean-up.

Education and Experience (required):
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* 2+ previous experience required.

Education and Experience (preferred):
* Certificate in Autobody, Automotive Technology or related.
* Valid driver"s license.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities (required):
* Mechanical ability and ability to operate shop equipment.
* Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Has own tools with toolbox.
* Ability to read, comprehend and execute written and verbal instructions.

* Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends.
