Immigration & Mobility Specialist

As an Immigration & Mobility Specialist, you are an essential part of Stellantis. You will work closely with the Human Resources Business Partners, the Global Mobility team, as well as outside immigration counsel advising on overall immigration strategies as well as specific immigration issues, fostering new ideas and supporting the immigration hiring process. You will influence the business, create partnerships, manage, and grow cross-functional relationships that will create a successful environment for the program's success. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:




  • Proactively monitor the status of pending immigration petitions and communicate status to operating management and employees
  • Develop immigration strategies with operating management to determine future direction
  • Analyze complex immigration matters and effectively communicate solutions to internal clients in collaboration with outside immigration counsel
  • Partner with outside immigration counsel to ensure adherence to compliance, service level standards and communication protocol
  • Partner with outside immigration counsel and internal stakeholders to manage all work-related immigration matters (such as L-1A/B visas, H-1B visas, U.S. green card cases, etc.)
  • Conduct trainings and hold meetings for and with internal stakeholders and partner groups (i.e., employees, recruiters, HR and business managers) to provide case status updates, information and advice on immigration requirements and related matters as necessary
  • Develop standard, documented practices as well as a knowledge base
  • Monitor changes in U.S. immigration laws, policies, procedures, and processing trends to ensure ongoing compliance

Basic Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years of experience in immigration administration or immigration law
  • Experience with U.S. immigration practices and processes
  • Experience developing and implementing immigration strategies
