Who we are looking for:

We are currently looking for a Sales Analyst to be based out of the New Bedford, MA facility. Reporting to the Sr. Inside Sales Manager, this person will be responsible for providing administrative and operational assistance to the sales team to help drive revenue and ensure optimized sales process. Prepare reports, manage customer information, coordinate communications, and handle order processing and order adjustments. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with sales staff and clients.

What you'll do:



  • Compile, update, and analyze sales data to support forecasting, performance tracking, and revenuedriving initiatives.
  • Prepare accurate sales reports and dashboards, ensuring data integrity and timely distribution to the sales team and leadership.
  • Maintain and update customer, product, and sales information within the Flexicon system to ensure accurate order configuration and quoting.
  • Troubleshoot discrepancies and coordinate with crossfunctional teams to maintain data accuracy and workflow efficiency within Flexicon.
  • Process incoming sales orders, verify accuracy of pricing and product details, and coordinate adjustments to ensure timely and errorfree fulfillment.
  • Serve as a liaison between sales, operations, and customers to resolve order issues and support smooth endtoend order lifecycle management.
  • Log and track customer quality complaints, ensuring accurate documentation and timely followup with quality and production teams.
  • Communicate resolutions to customers and support corrective actions that improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the sales team, including preparing customer communications, coordinating meetings, and managing sales materials.
  • Assist with customer inquiries, maintain updated account information, and help ensure an optimized and responsive sales process.


    What you'll bring:



    • Associate degree in business or a related field or 4+ years of equivalent experience in a sales support, administrative, or customerfacing role.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Teams.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
    • Excellent ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, both written and verbal
    • Experience using JD Edwards (JDE) for order processing, data entry, or customer information management preferred.
    • Familiarity with Power BI for viewing or generating data dashboards and sales reports preferred.
    • Working knowledge of Reports Now (or similar reporting tools) for custom report creation and data extraction preferred.
    • Experience with Salesforce or another CRM platform for managing customer accounts, opportunities, and communication logs preferred.


      Within 3 months, you'll:



      • Gain a strong understanding of products.
      • Gain a strong understanding of pricing strategy.
      • Gain a strong understanding of sales order processes.


      Within 6 months, you'll:



      • Independently manage core sales support functions.
      • Proactively identify process improvements.
      • Contribute to increased sales efficiently and responsiveness.


      Within 12 months, you'll:



      • Serve as a trusted partner to the sales team by optimizing workflows.
      • Directly contribute to measurable improvements in sales performance and customer satisfaction.
      • Improve data quality and reporting metrics.

      As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $68,400 - $94,050. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
