You Are:

The Technical Delivery Manager combines people leadership, delivery excellence, technical depth, and operational rigor, ensuring high reliability, automation maturity, and continuous improvement across all supported systems.

The opportunity:

* Lead and coordinate ROC/SRE operations across GenOps, AppSupport, and DBA Ops, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and consistent execution.

* Prioritize daily operational workload, incidents, and improvements across multilocation SRE teams (onshore/offshore).

* Oversee critical reliability functions: monitoring, health checks, patching, backup/DR readiness, vulnerabilities, deployment support.

* Drive incident management: fast triage, escalation handling, RCA, corrective actions, and knowledge sharing.

* Ensure strong SLI/SLO governance, reliability metrics reporting, and error budget awareness across teams.

* Strengthen observability practices (Dynatrace, Grafana, ELK, Prometheus, Azure Monitor) with actionable dashboards.

* Lead database reliability operations for SQL/NoSQL (performance, patching, replication, capacity, DR).

What you need:

* Skills & Experience.

* Technical Skills:

* Strong understanding of Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, IaC (Terraform/Ansible).

* Familiarity with database operations: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, high availability, DR, performance tuning.

* Working knowledge of observability platforms (Dynatrace, Grafana, SentryOne, ELK).

* Awareness of SRE concepts: SLO/SLI, error budgets, incident lifecycle, reliability engineering.

* Understanding of automation frameworks (Python, PowerShell, Azure Automation, GitOps).

* Leadership & Delivery Skills:

* 10-18+ years overall experience with 4-10 years in technical delivery or engineering leadership roles.

* Proven experience managing multi-functional technical teams.

* Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and decision-making skills.

* Ability to handle complex escalations, pressure situations, and high-impact production issues.

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: North Carolina

Compensation Range : $87,000-$131,000

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
