The Manufacturing Torque Engineer (SBU) will be responsible for leading the understanding and development/launch of all torque tools used in the vehicle assembly process for new vehicle launches. The Torque Engineer will interface with multiple organizations (Product Engineering, Vehicle Assembly Plants, Quality, Industrial Engineering, VPE Tooling, etc.) to understand all vehicle fasteners and securing processes required. The information obtained will be used to generate the master tool list for torque tools required as well as special manufacturing requirements for new vehicle launches. Teamwork is a critical aspect of this job. Basic Qualifications:
