Role Overview

The Pricing Analyst supports profitable growth across a private-equity-backed landscape services platform by developing, analyzing, and maintaining pricing strategies that reflect market conditions, cost structures, and service complexity. This role focuses on improving price realization, bid accuracy, and margin consistency across maintenance, enhancements, design/build, and sweeping services.

The Pricing Analyst partners closely with FP&A, Sales, Go-To-Market (GTM), Operations, and regional leadership to ensure pricing decisions are data-driven, scalable, and aligned with operational capacity and financial targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze historical pricing, win/loss data, and margin performance to identify pricing gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Support development and maintenance of pricing models, rate cards, and discount guidelines by service line and region.
  • Partner with Sales and GTM to improve bid accuracy, pricing discipline, and price realization.
  • Evaluate labor, equipment, materials, and overhead cost inputs to ensure pricing reflects true cost-to-serve.
  • Support annual pricing reviews, contract renewals, and inflationary price adjustments.
  • Develop pricing analytics and dashboards to track win rates, margins, discounting, and contract performance.
  • Collaborate with Operations to validate assumptions related to production rates, crew productivity, and service delivery.
  • Assist with competitive and market analysis to inform pricing strategy.
  • Support ad hoc pricing analysis for leadership, including scenario modeling and special projects.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Analytics, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, FP&A, or analytical roles.
  • Experience in landscaping, construction, facilities services, or other project- or contract-based service environments preferred.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data.
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with estimating, ERP, or CRM systems preferred.
  • Ability to partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Finance, and regional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and disciplined approach to data accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to explain pricing insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, growth-oriented and private-equity-backed environments.
