Join a team that plays a pivotal role in strengthening Public Affairs, Communications & Sustainability (PACS) across the Midcontinent and Upper Plains/West regions. In this position, you will support highimpact regional initiatives by providing essential administrative and coordination expertise that enables our teams to stay focused on priority execution. From managing budgets and contracts to maintaining key databases, coordinating events, and supporting community investment activities, you will help drive the successful implementation of Regional and Project Stakeholder Engagement Plans. What you will do:

  • Administrative: Provide administrative support including expense reports, vendor requests, new vendor set up, purchase requisitions (and tracking for timely payment), email box monitoring, department time sheets, travel arrangements, mail and filing, vehicle lease coordination, publication and materials inventory, and other administrative tasks as they come up.

  • Corporate Citizenship: Under the direction of the Corporate Citizenship and Stakeholder Engagement leads, manage the employee volunteering inbox; review and approve volunteer time submissions; and support check requests, Accounts Payable processing, and data updates. Participate in biweekly enterprise-wide Corporate Citizenship team meetings and assist with meeting coordination as needed to support strategic partnerships.

  • Special Events and Meetings Support: Under the direction of Stakeholder Engagement managers, provide support by coordinating facility and/or catering arrangements for special programs such as Enbridge-hosted meetings/entertainment events, hosting/sponsorship of charitable organization activities, company-sponsored receptions, field office meetings or open houses, and event and meeting support for Projects in the Mid-continent and Upper Plains/West regions.

  • Budgets: Maintain operational and various Projects budgets for the Mid-continent and Upper Plains/West region, producing scheduled and as needed reports for PACS leadership and regional engagement teams.

  • Department Processes: Analyze and monitor department processes to ensure that staff has the methods, tools and assistance they need to efficiently do their jobs. Proactively seek opportunities to improve or facilitate completion of a task(s) that help improve productivity for the Stakeholder Engagement team. Ensure contact databases are utilized and assist staff with inputting data as needed.

Who you are:

You have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Minimum of three years' related experience in an advanced administrative/coordinator role.

  • Well-developed interpersonal, communication and documentation skills

  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and use of established databases.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with initiative and creativity when managing complex and/or multiple projects.

  • Ability to work well as a team member including the ability to foster and maintain a culture that promotes best contribution and synergy from all parties to achieve desired work levels.

  • Strong organizational skills including planning, event management, and goal setting.

  • Strong analytical skills to quickly analyze complex situations, determine key issues, and prepare and implement clearly defined solutions and/or responses.

  • The highest standard of personal integrity supported by open and honest communication.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment: Duluth, MN [or other Mid-continent location]

  • Works with highly confidential, strategic information

  • Non-Exempt 40-hour work week

  • Occasional travel required - 10-25%

  • Typical professional work hours 40-45 hours per week that could extend to weekends and evenings for special projects or emergencies. #joinourteam

Physical Working Conditions:

Include but are not limited to: Balancing, bending and stooping, climbing, crawling, carrying (up to 20 pounds), grasping, kneeling, lifting (up to 20 pounds), pulling hand over hand, pushing, reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, walking, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.

Mental Requirements:

Include but are not limited to: Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.

Salary:

Ranges from $49,900 - $69,000 USD for US locations based upon candidate's experience, skills, and internal equity.
