Operations - Helps ensure the integrity of the pipeline system to operate within Federal and State guidelines. Main focus is to facilitate and coordinate the day-to-day field operations in assigned areas especially related to the technical and operational aspects of the area, so the Supervisor can focus on the HR and Administrative details of the area. Truck LACTs - Serves as the primary point of contact to ensure smooth and safe operations at truck loading and unloading facilities. Coordinates and schedules maintenance activities to minimize downtime and communicates updates effectively to all stakeholders. Leadership - Helps provide coaching and mentoring to Enbridge employees in assigned area. Assists Supervisor in setting targets, evaluating targets and setting operational goals for area. Provide direct supervision of support staff in alternate role when the Supervisor is gone. Provide oversight and supervision to various contractors who are hired to complete tasks related to field operations in the area. Mechanical - Helps to ensure that assigned area pipeline facilities area maintained and all necessary maintenance activities are performed according to schedule and need. Highly focused on the field operations related to the area. Measurement - Assists in the scheduling of measurement activities such as waterdraws and provings. Coordinates timing between different operation groups to ensure successful work execution. Emergency Response/Training/OQ - Helps Ensure that personnel are trained and prepared in case of an emergency, including lead operations role in ER events and drills. Helps ensure field staff are properly qualified and trained in all areas of responsibility related to their roles and daily work. Regulatory - Helps ensure all activity is conducted in accordance with Department of Transportation regulatory requirements. Assists in Field Area Audits and inspections and helping to ensure we are compliant technically and operationally related to maintenance and upkeep. Safety - Assists with employees and contractors in complying with all company safety and environmental policies. Facilitates pre-jobs, ensures folks understand JHA/FLHA and hazard Assessment requirements and leads field staff in daily operational duties. Planning and Scheduling - Highly involved and helps facilitate detailed planning and scheduling of needs in conjunction with PLM and Engineering related to planned projects and through use of Maximo. Works closely with Technical Services team on maintenance needs related to areas of responsibility to ensure compliance and maintenance schedules are met. Coordinates needs between groups with operations staff. Budget- Helps Supervisor to stay in line with operating budgets. Project Coordination - Responsible for coordinating various area operational projects such as line repairs, pump repairs, motor repairs, tank repairs, while working with applicable support groups for needed operational support related to area projects and facilities. Public awareness - Assists where needed in conducting personal visits with landowners, Fire Departments, Sheriff Departments, and City Police, and or attending area operational contractor and digger dinners. Customer Relations - Helps Area Supervisor as needed to keep positive customer relations and ensure customer satisfaction. Coordinates work with other departments internally and externally. (Technical trades, Control Center Operations, Liquids Pipeline Engineering, Project Development and Execution, contractors, etc.) Helps in fostering an environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and innovation while maintaining a strict adherence to safety standards and compliance with regulations and procedures. Alcohol free on call rotation responsibilities for area of responsibility.
Who You Are:
Related university degree and six-plus years' industry experience OR eight-plus years of previous field operations experience, OR equivalent mix of formal education and various industry experience. Demonstrated ability to perform associated tasks and familiarity with commonly used equipment and related maintenance practice. A thorough understanding of and disciplined adherence to Company safety standards, company policies, and operation and maintenance procedures Mechanical/Electrical aptitude and administrative ability Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and has effective leadership and communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with external customers, landowners, first responders and regulators.

Working Conditions:
Office environments, with frequent travel along the pipeline system in Texas. Mechanical environment requires physical effort in field work and line crossing. Other additional travel is occasionally required for business meetings to include travel to regional states and Canada. Maintain 24 hour on call status
Physical Requirements: Include but are not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement. Mental Requirements: Include but are not limited to: Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
