THE ROLE

This role focuses on executing systemlevel and scale validation for nextgeneration machine learning platforms. As a Senior Engineer, you will own a definable portion of a larger validation effort, driving test execution, quality, and timely delivery within an established framework.

You will work handson with server hardware, firmware, operating systems, and automation infrastructure to validate system behavior at scale. The role emphasizes problem solving, technical judgment, and execution, with responsibility for implementing technical decisions within your scope and communicating progress, risks, and dependencies to the broader team.

THE PERSON

You are a seniorlevel test engineer with specialized system knowledge and strong analytical skills who thrives on driving execution. You are comfortable working independently under general supervision, owning a defined area of responsibility, and delivering highquality results on a predictable timeline. You apply sound technical judgment to solve complex problems, adapt standard test methods when needed, and understand the downstream impact of quality gaps or delays. You contribute positively to team effectiveness and proactively collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own and execute a defined portion of systemlevel and scale validation for machine learning server platforms
  • Develop and execute test procedures covering server components such as CPU, GPU, memory, BIOS, BMC, I/O, storage, and networking
  • Translate system requirements and specifications into practical system integration and scale test plans
  • Drive daytoday execution of assigned validation activities, ensuring quality, completeness, and schedule adherence
  • Debug complex systemlevel issues using analytical techniques and make targeted modifications to standard test approaches when required
  • Implement important technical decisions within the owned test scope and escalate risks or interdependencies appropriately
  • Execute and monitor automated test runs at scale; analyze results to identify failures, trends, and root causes
  • Contribute improvements to systemlevel test methodologies, processes, and automation
  • Communicate execution status, risks, and dependencies to management and senior technical staff
  • Support lab activities related to owned work, including system setup, reconfiguration, and compliance tasks

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in postsilicon system integration or systemlevel testing
  • Proven ability to debug complex system and SoClevel issues
  • Experience validating scaleup and/or scaleout server configurations
  • Solid understanding of computer architecture and hardware/software interactions
  • Handson experience with server platforms and datacenter hardware
  • Experience installing and managing operating systems; basic knowledge of virtualization and hypervisors
  • Proficiency in Python; working knowledge of Bash and/or PowerShell
  • Familiarity with machine learning systems deployed in datacenter environments
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multifunctional hardware, firmware, and software teams

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
