Job Details
The Patient Relations Specialist serves as a liaison between patients, family members, and the health care team members to enhance communication and patient/family satisfaction by identifying and resolving concerns expressed by patients and families. Makes contact with patients and family to answers questions, follow-up on concerns and provide information. Coordinates multidisciplinary review of expressed concerns and composes written follow up to be shared with patient/family as indicated. Acts to strengthen the hospital's commitment that each patient receives, in a compassionate manner, all services and care to which they are entitled. Possesses superior customer service skills/interpersonal interactions; ability to handle difficult and angry people constructively; confident with interacting with physicians/senior leadership; ability to stay resilient while navigating uncomfortable situations and facilitating difficult conversations. Salary Range: Minimum 22.33/hour - Maximum 36.86/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
