Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital is the exclusive provider of health services at IMG Academy, the world's largest and most advanced multi-sport training and educational institution in Bradenton, Florida. The Johns Hopkins All Children's health services team onsite includes pediatric sports medicine specialists, nurses and physical therapists. Nurses are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to meet students' needs in the case of illness or injury. The Health Services Clinic is in the IMG Campus Center. We have three observation beds on the IMG campus in case students are too sick to stay in the dorm. We also can transport students to our main campus in St. Petersburg where we have access to experts in more than 50 pediatric specialties and subspecialties. What you will do: This position requires on-call. Provides oversight of the day to day operations of the department. The Clinical Manager analyzes, develops, and implements methods and systems to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of services. In addition, the Clinical Manager creates an environment that promotes the provision of patient centered, specialized, and evidence based nursing care, across the continuum, through an inter-professional approach to treatment, research, education and advocacy. The Clinical Manager is skilled at promoting teambuilding and positivity. This position contributes to the goals of the department and the Department of Nursing. The Clinical Manager is accountable for the delivery of compassionate and safe care within the scope of practice as defined by the Florida Board of Nursing and JHACH policy. Through collaborative practice with all members of the care team, this role is responsible for patient outcomes that meet the high quality of care provided by JHACH. The professional practice of nursing at JHACH involves the promotion of a culture of innovation and a commitment to academic growth and professional development. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
