Overview The Senior Manager, Data Exchange & Administration leads a high tech, customer facing organization responsible for delivering mission critical Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Transportation Management System (TMS) integration solutions across a global, cross vertical logistics network. This role owns the full lifecycle of complex EDI and system to system integrations-including scope definition, requirement gathering, technical architecture, rapid cycle implementation, and ongoing support-while managing competing priorities across enterprise customers, TMS providers, carriers, and internal business units.The Senior Manager ensures the performance, scalability, and reliability of enterprise data platforms, including EDI, API, and underlying middleware ecosystems, while driving automation, modernization, and high availability engineering practices. Operating in a fast moving logistics environment, this leader directs high visibility integration programs with aggressive timelines, ensuring seamless data exchange between systems (TMS, WMS, ERP) and partner technologies through EDI, APIs, and advanced data exchange frameworks.Partnering closely with leadership and global business teams; establishes enterprise data governance standards, elevates data quality, and architects innovative integration strategies that strengthen operational excellence. The role also builds, mentors, and inspires high performing EDI, integration teams focused on speed, execution, customer satisfaction, and world class technical delivery. Responsibilities
Integration Architecture & Technical Delivery:
* Architect and lead next-generation EDI and TMS integration solutions, ensuring seamless, secure, and scalable data exchange across global logistics ecosystems. * Lead technical design and integration between internal platforms (TMS, WMS, ERP) and external customer/partner systems using EDI, APIs, and automation frameworks. * Drive rapid-cycle implementation of EDI and system-to-system integrations, ensuring on-time execution within aggressive delivery windows and high customer visibility. * Advance automation across data pipelines, leveraging high-tech tooling to streamline transformations, improve reliability, and reduce operational load. Qualifications Education * Bachelor's Degree degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical discipline;advanced degree preferred. (required) * Master's Degree (preferred) Experience * 2+ years Must have a track record of delivering customer facing integrations for enterprise level clients, carriers, and logistics partners on compressed schedules. (required) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Expert-level proficiency with EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT), APIs, JSON/XML payloads, and large-scalesystem integrations across multiple verticals. High * Significant hands-on experience integrating with leading Transportation Management Systems (TMS) andWarehouse Management Systems (WMS). High * Proven ability to define scope, requirements, and delivery plans for complex integration programs withcompeting priorities and aggressive timelines.
