Sanmina Energy (Houston) provides: Product Engineering with an emphasis on energy including very complex electro-mechanical systems; Assembly & Test for full electromechanical assemblies across multiple industries with capability to produce new and legacy [high temperature] printed circuit board assemblies; and Precision Machining with capabilities across the full material spectrum.

Summary of position:

Verifies and maintains records for incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment. Duties include assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying, and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for product transportation.

Essential functions and duties:

*Examines shipment contents and compare with bill of ladling to verify accuracy.

*Packs, seals, labels, or affixes postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter.

*Delivers or routes materials to departments using handtruck, conveyor, or sorting bins.

*Requisition and stores shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.

*Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts supplies and equipment.

*Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.

*Lifts heavy items and operate fork lift

*Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.

*Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.

*Examines stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.

Non-Essential functions and duties:

*May prepare kitting packages for assembly production

*Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. *High School degree or GED

*At least 10 years experience in manufacturing environment

*Must be able to drive a forklift

Language skills:

*Ability to count and verify numbers against a bill of ladling
