Vaco is recruiting for a Bilingual Accounts Receivable Specialist. Pay Rate: $21-$26/hr MUST be fluent in spanish Experience Needed: Cash application to customer accounts Resolving differences between cash receipt and invoice gross amount Contacting customers Reconciling customer accounts (invoices and credits JOB DESCRIPTION Overview of the Company United Wheels Inc. UWI is a world leader in the design, manufacture and international distribution of bicycles, e-bikes, and rideable toys, manufacturing more than 6 million bicycles and e-Bikes each year. UWI owns and operates several bicycle-related subsidiaries. Responsibilities This position will be responsible for processing incoming payments, bank reconciliations, completing receivable transactions, and providing needed reporting data to appropriate parties Prepares daily cash deposits Enters finalized cash receipts and updates the Accounts Receivable (AR) ledger by customer Obtains and mails invoice copies for customers, as requested Processes daily credit card deposits and post payments Files check stubs and bank receipts Completes account reconciliations Maintains files and records and payment resolution Verifies banking information, balances bank account within financial system Research and processes customer claims of invoice payment Research and processes chargebacks, returns, and bad checks kills & Abilities Proficient with Microsoft Excel and general accounting software (J.D. Edwards preferred) Strong data entry skills and attention to detail Ability to manage a high volume of work accurately and efficiently Basic understanding of sales tax and general ledger coding Comfortable collaborating across teams Competencies Customer Focus - Aims to satisfy all customers while maintaining effective relationships, both internal and external.
