*Position Overview* A leading telecommunications company in Denver is seeking an *IntermediateLevel Network Engineer (NEIII)* to join their advanced lab team. This group is responsible for recreating and resolving complex field issues tied to one of the company's most critical revenuegenerating services. The ideal candidate is highly technical, thrives on deepdive problem solving, and has handson experience in largescale provider environments. *Important:* This role supports highly specialized technologies used in DOCSIS and PON/RPHY network environments. *If your experience does not include all "Top Required Skills," you will not be considered for this position.* *Top Required Skills (Candidates must meet all)* * *DOCSIS - minimum 2-3 years of handson engineering experience* * *iCMTS experience* using *Harmonic* or *CommScope* * *PON experience*, including OLTS platforms (Adtran / similar) * *Harmonic ecosystem experience* (CableOS, nodes, vCMTS, etc.) If you lack experience in *any* of these four areas, this role is not applicable to your background. *Additional Required Technical Experience* The ideal candidate should also have strong working knowledge of: * RPHY architectures * Cisco routers and switches * EPON technologies * Routing & switching fundamentals in providerscale networks * Troubleshooting advanced field and customerimpacting issues *Role Responsibilities* In this role, you will support the lab environment responsible for diagnosing, recreating, and resolving complex field issues: * Investigate issues impacting enterprise and provider networks * Reproduce field issues in a controlled lab environment * Partner with vendors to isolate and resolve defects * Break, test, and validate network equipment to identify root cause * Design, document, and improve network architecture * Evaluate current technologies to identify gaps and performance issues * Verify connectivity, access, and security parameters * Tune, test, and validate network and security devices * Program and configure routers, switches, and access systems * Manage network activities from planning through implementation Solid understanding of routing protocols, providergrade hardware/software, and largescale network infrastructure is essential. *Employee Value Proposition* This is one of the most visible engineering teams in the company. Your work directly supports service reliability, customer satisfaction, and largescale network expansion initiatives. *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract position based out of Atlanta, GA. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
