Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
Doctoral degree in chemistry, materials science, physics, or a closely related field, or equivalent combination of education and research experience. Prior experience conducting independent experimental research is required. |

| Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |
Demonstrated ability to design and execute experiments, analyze complex data sets, and interpret physical measurements. Experience with vacuum-based systems, surface or solid-state characterization, and scientific computing is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently are required. |
