Opportunity Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Construction Supervisor III to support a ~300 MW utilityscale solar project in Hobbs, New Mexico. Reporting directly to the onsite Construction Manager, you will work with the Project Manager (budget owner) and electrical, mechanical, and civil inspectors/engineers. You will provide fieldbased quality and safety oversight of EPC construction activities, with a primary focus on mechanical inspections and supplemental civil inspections. You will use ArcGIS to capture, document, and report inspection findings. You will collaborate with EPC partners, internal engineering teams, and field partners to ensure full adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols. This is an active, fieldintensive position suited for candidates who excel in fastpaced construction environments and bring technical skills, a safetyfirst mindset, and collaboration across diverse site teams.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Participate in internal trailer huddles and coordinate daily priorities with EPC and inspection teams.
• Perform mechanical and civil field inspections, including walkdowns with EPC personnel and QA/QC inspectors.
• Complete and submit inspection forms on iPad/phone, uploading documentation to the inspection platform (typically 1-7+ inspections/day, depending on project phase).
• Monitor construction progress, identify quality discrepancies, and ensure resolution through EPC collaboration.
• Maintain strict adherence to site safety protocols, including hazard identification and mitigation during field activities.
• Provide inspection updates, photo documentation, and ArcGISbased reporting to site leadership.

Who You Are:

• 7+ years of mechanical or civil construction oversight experience, solar preferred.
  
  
  
  • Open to candidates with 2-3 years of directly relevant field experience and an engineering degree.
  
  
  
  
• Handson inspection capabilities across mechanical and civil scopes.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety culture and field risk mitigation.
• Manage largescale field workflows, prioritize inspections, and maintain clear documentation.
• Comfortable working in demanding field environments and variable schedules.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $78 to $81/hr.
