What we're looking for:

Our Human Resources department contributes to Goodwill's success by overseeing everything related to our best resource, our people. As a member of the recruiting team, you will help us staff our stores and donation centers by sourcing, screening, interviewing and selecting job seekers to meet with hiring managers.

We're looking for a detail-oriented person who believes that a great hiring experience turns into great retention. You'll be joining a team of professionals who aren't afraid to ask questions and know how to have fun working together.

What you'll be doing:



  • Prepare job requisitions to assist management in hiring personnel for the organization.
  • Source, contact, schedule and conduct interviews to provide high-potential candidates to hiring managers
  • Create job offer letters to provide successful candidates with the information necessary to accept the position
  • Follow-up with candidates throughout the onboarding process
  • Verify candidate references
  • Develop and maintain recruiting referral sources on an ongoing basis
  • Respond to inquiries about the organization's recruiting activities and status of job openings.



Requirements:



  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 or more years of experience in high volume recruiting
  • Familiarity with State and Federal employment laws and government compliance requirements
  • A good driving record, dependable transportation and communication devices


Preferences:



  • A Bachelor's degree
  • Experience hiring for retail positions
  • Experience using multiple recruiting platforms and applicant tracking systems
  • Bilingual
  • Prior military or non-profit experience
