  • Serve as Ingersoll Rand's enterprise-wide thought leader for Gen AI solutions and enablement in these functions: Customer Experience, Demand Generation/Marketing, Sales, and Product Management.
  • Lead the enterprise-wide network of AI Champions within these function(s), specifically:
  • Manage the functional SharePoint site and roster of members; recruiting new members as employees exit, new businesses are added via acquisition, etc. with the goal of expanding the community over time
  • Meet regularly with functional Champions to ensure alignment and support ongoing work
  • Moderate community discussions/chats and maintain engagement through active posting of new content
  • Create and maintain an archive of function-specific content and resources (articles, links, websites, videos, etc.)

  • Establish and measure KPIs that will be used to measure success for AI implementation within the function
  • Serve as on-demand resource for members of functional community as they have questions, concerns, and ideas
  • Connect individual AI Champions and community members to share solutions, ideas, etc.
  • Write up (with owner) and communicate success stories, making these available for use in internal and external enterprise-wide communications (e.g., Global Town Hall events, Investor Day meeting, etc.)
  • Directly own and support the development and implementation of all AI agents (internally built or externally sourced) for the function:
  • Recommend solutions for inbound challenges and opportunities raised by the AI Champions
  • Personally develop basic agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Snowflake Intelligence, etc.
  • Serve as an intermediary between functional AI Champions and third-party agencies developing agents on IR's behalf (e.g., TCS, Birlasoft)
  • Actively seek out and test third-party solutions that address needs of the functional team; vet and maintain list of approved third party tools for use by the functional champions, e.g. Scribe or Github Copilot

  • Ensure ethical and compliant use of AI by following governance standards and organizational policies
  • Lead workflow mapping and process improvement plans for relevant enterprise-level workstream transformation projects
  • Follow standard work for workstream transformation if/when supporting a designated "enterprise transformation" process
  • Engage directly with customers of the processes (external customers or internal users) to understand their specific "jobs to be done" and most critical outcomes from the workstream; ensure we are working "customer-back" and not "technology-first"
  • Create process flow or value stream maps for key workflows, identifying areas to be eliminated, improved, automated, replaced, etc.
