These are the qualifications that matter.

• 5-10 years of sanitation experience in food or beverage manufacturing
• 2-3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
• Working knowledge of SQF, GMP, and HACCP programs
• Experience with sanitation verification and environmental monitoring programs
• Ability to lead teams, manage audits, and implement improvements
• Bachelor's degree preferred (Food Science, Microbiology, Environmental Science, or related)
• Certifications such as HACCP, SQF Practitioner, AIB, GMP, or OSHA preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in hot/cold production environments
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, safety-sensitive manufacturing setting

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily sanitation operations across the facility
• Manage Master Sanitation Schedules and required documentation
• Verify proper chemical usage and sanitation effectiveness
• Oversee environmental monitoring and food safety programs
• Maintain audit-ready records for SQF, regulatory, and customer compliance
• Train, coach, and develop sanitation team members
• Partner with Maintenance to implement hygienic equipment and process improvements
• Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support overall product integrity and operational readiness
