Job Title: Corporate Finance Analyst
Location: Houston Texas
Job Type: Full-time (Onsite)
Pay Range: $80,000 - $85,000 annually + 10-15% annual bonus.

Job overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Corporate Analyst to support firm operations and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GAAP, partnership accounting, and financial controls, along with excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills. Experience in financial services or energy industries is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting & Reporting



  • Perform journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for monthly general ledger close (subsidiaries and parent company).
  • Assist with day-to-day financial and accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements and compliance reporting.
  • Prepare monthly internal reports to support business unit needs.
  • Conduct monthly P&L and balance sheet reviews in collaboration with the CFO.
  • Support the CFO in the annual operating budget planning cycle for all subsidiaries.
  • Provide financial modeling and forecasting to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Manage cash movements for private funds and related investor capital calls/distributions.
  • Assist with monthly/quarterly NAV calculations and investor statements in coordination with the fund administrator.


Operations & Process Improvement



  • Oversee shared services operations across subsidiaries (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, cash collections).
  • Drive continuous process improvement and automation through technology solutions (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce).
  • Serve as liaison with third-party service providers (audit, tax, fund administrator).


Investment & Investor Support



  • Prepare materials for firm-level Committees and the Advisory Board.
  • Assist the CIO and President with research, development, and launch of new investment products.
  • Support the CCO and Director of Investor Relations with private fund performance updates, due diligence questionnaires, and ad hoc requests.
  • Contribute to the preparation of monthly newsletters and investor materials.
  • Support the CIO with trade bookings and ensure accurate daily trading activity in the Order Management System (in coordination with the outsourced middle-office team).
  • Lead HR-related projects and initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness.


Key Requirements:

Education & Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited university.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in Operations, Fund Accounting, or Audit.
  • Background in financial services or energy preferred.


Technical Skills



  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with Bloomberg, EZE OMS, NetSuite, or Salesforce is a plus.
