Torch Technologies Inc., is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Receptionist/Visitor Control that will provide receptionist support for the Company and work under our Corporate Administration Department. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role is crucial in managing front desk operations, handling guest inquiries, and maintaining overall efficiency.

As a Part-Time Receptionist/Visitor Control your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:

  • Position will provide support at the corporate front desk during the hours of 12:00pm and 5:00pm, Monday through Friday with ability to cover more hours during absences/vacation of morning receptionist.
  • Responsible for receiving visitors at the Torch corporate office reception area by greeting them in a polite and friendly manner, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries as needed.
  • Utilize employee and department directories as a guide for directing visitors and others as appropriate.
  • Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness. Administer the visitor badge in/out process and maintain visitor logbook and electronic records as applicable.
  • Ensure reception area and all common areas are always kept in a clean and tidy manner.
  • May assist others with scheduling of meeting and conference rooms.
  • Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and needs to ensure receptionist/visitor control mission continuity is maintained.
  • Handle outgoing mail (ex. USPS, FedEx, etc.); receive deliveries, and sorts and distributes incoming mail.
  • May assist with stocking basic office supplies and drink/snacks in conference rooms and auditorium as needed.
  • Operates standard office equipment on a regular basis to include but not limited to: computer, copy machine, postage meter, and badge printer.
  • Ensures compliance with company rules, procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Performs other general administrative and clerical support duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • US Citizenship.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in an office environment. Prior Receptionist experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in a customer service role.
  • Must be able to support full-time hours as on call/as needed when morning receptionist is absent or on vacation.
  • Must have the ability to maintain and obtain a security clearance.

  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize without guidance.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • High accountability - must be punctual with strong attendance history.
  • Professional with positive attitude; enthusiastic, respectful, and friendly.

Schedule:M-F; 12pm-5pm. (Part-Time)
