JOB DESCRIPTION:

SUMMARY OF POSITION

This will be a remote position; however, the employee will be required to attend regularly scheduled, in-person community and treatment team meetings. Employee must live locally within the vicinity of Tullahoma or within a reasonable distance to attend meetings. Employee will primarily be responsible for follow-up contacts and duties following mobile crisis assessments. Employee will be responsible for providing telephone crisis follow up response and risk screening services to those individuals who have experienced a mental health crisis. Employee will provide support and linkage to area resources with follow up services to individuals in crisis and their families/support systems. The employee will manage a spreadsheet of their caseload of clients that are being monitored following mobile crisis assessments.

The hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Employee will represent Centerstone in a professional manner when interacting with external entities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide coverage of crisis service beyond scheduled work hour/shifts and as assigned by crisis service supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate records of all contacts and enter all data in a timely manner.
  • Client's follow-up needs are documented for Team follow-up.
  • Deescalates crisis situations as needed.
  • Thorough assessment of risk of harm to self or others is clearly documented and plan to assure safety is thorough and feasible.
  • Make appropriate referrals for least restrictive treatment possible to ensure psychiatric needs are being met as evidenced by documentation.
  • Clinician makes every effort to respond to calls promptly.
  • Creates an atmosphere of cooperation with Centerstone departments, community agencies, mental health consumers, and the public at large.
  • Attend all team meetings, clinical supervision and completes online trainings as required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and competency in the utilization of Centerstone programs and other community resources.
  • Knowledge of crisis intervention skills.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education Level

Bachelor's degree required. Equivalent education/experience can be substituted for education requirement upon approval.

Pay Range:

$18.20--$25.50
