As a Security Officer - Armed - Retail Patrol in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support guests and store teams with courteous service and clear communication. You will document observations, respond to security-related concerns, and collaborate with site partners. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail or mall location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, loading and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with disorderly persons, suspected theft, and/or medical situations, and coordinating with management and local responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, help to maintain orderly entry and exit flow, and perform basic access control functions such as checking doors, verifying deliveries, and/or assisting with after-hours protocols.
• Complete required reports and logs, document observations and incidents, and communicate notable activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
